optoNCDT 1900: The laser sensor for highest precision with compact design

The optoNCDT 1900 is the latest model of Micro-Epsilon laser sensors. Offering a unique combination of high speed, compact design and accuracy, this innovative sensor is used for dynamic displacement, distance and position measurements. The triangulation sensor is equipped with an integrated high performance controller for fast and high precision processing and output of measurement values.

The optoNCDT 1900 laser sensor combines a lightweight, compact design with high precision. This makes it ideally suited to displacement, distance and position measurements in industrial environments, automation and robotics. The innovative laser triangulation sensor is used whenever maximum precision is required with the latest technology. It solves measurement tasks in the fields of automation, car manufacturing, 3D printing and in coordinate measuring machines.

Both shiny metals and different paints ranging from bright to dark and from matt to shiny can be measured reliably. The small light spots allows for the smallest of details to be measured precisely, while the robust design enables installation on processing robots.

The sensors are equipped with an intelligent surface control feature. The Advanced Surface Compensation feature operates with new algorithms and enables stable measurement results even on demanding surfaces. In addition, the sensor is extremely resistant to ambient light and can also be used in strongly illuminated environments. For signal optimization, a two-step measurement value averaging feature is available. This enables a smooth signal at edges and steps.

New mounting system for accuracy of fit

Mounting the sensor using fitting sleeves automatically aligns the sensor in the correct position. This enables both easy sensor replacement and even higher precision in solving measurement tasks. The sensor requires only 70x31x45 mm of space. In particular thickness measurements involving two optoNCDT 1900 sensors reveal the benefits of this mounting system, as the light points can be aligned exactly.
